Danny Davidson’s paintings and mark makings illustrate the atmosphere and energy of a moment, whilst simultaneously occupying a paradoxical state of unfolding time. Using varying techniques such as staining, charring, scoring, as well as brushstrokes, as entry points to his work.
Inspired by the concept of Intra-action, understanding agency as not an inherent property of an individual or human to be exercised, but as a dynamism of forces in which all designated things are constantly exchanging and diffracting, influencing and working inseparably.
Danny has held exhibitions in London, Manchester and Blackburn and further afield in New York and Belgium. His paintings are held in private and public collections.
