Brand new for 2026, we are delighted to introduce abstract artist Danny Davidson to the gallery. His paintings explore the feeling and energy of a moment rather than trying to be fixed in time – inspired by the concept of Intra-action.
Intra-action is the idea that things don’t act on their own, but are always shaped through their relationships with other things. Meaning and energy come from how materials, people, and environments meet, influence one another, and change together.
Using techniques such as staining, charring, scoring, and expressive brushwork, Danny builds layered surfaces that feel alive, physical, and in motion.
