In line with our commitment to continually champion the best young emerging talent, we’re delighted to introduce the first of two brand new gallery artists this month – Liberty Thompson. Liberty is a Fine Art graduate from DJCAD (2024), one of Scotland’s leading art schools based in Dundee.
A multi-disciplinary artist, Liberty’s work highlights the subtle, often overlooked intricacies of domestic life. Her most recent work explores the living environments of her parents, who are separated. A personal journey documenting their two worlds.
Liberty’s vivid colors and soft brushwork evoke nostalgic, dreamlike scenes – inviting viewers to reflect on their own family experiences.
Liberty now lives in Glasgow. She plans to begin her Masters in Fine Art at The Glasgow School of Art this September. We’re very excited to see how her work develops and share it with you.
