Glasgow based Callum Youde’s work is honest and visually refreshing. He is inspired by everyday stories that unfold around him. The things he sees, objects he uses, music he is listening to. Callum documents these experiences in sketches and photography – constructing, deconstructing and layering imagery. He works expressively, predominantly with oil bars and spray paint to reveal his semi abstracted versions of reality.
Callum graduated from DJCAD with a BA (Hons) Fine Art 2021. We hosted Callum’s first ever solo show Everything In Between in the gallery in June 2022 – pretty much a sell out event.
