Simone Webb (b.Oxfordshire) works from her home studio in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. She is a mixed media artist creating limited edition prints and originals with a continuous theme of depicting the life cycle of flowers. More recently, she has been exploring the effects of nature on our health and wellbeing. Stemming from an interest in biophilia, her current body of work examines the effects that living in urban areas, away from nature, has on us as humans.
She has exhibited in group shows nationally and internationally including Hong Kong, San Francisco and Seattle. In 2020 she was invited to partake in the Art On a Postcard summer auction, alongside Jake and Dinos Chapman and Julian Opie, with the sale of her work at auction contributing to the £48k raised in donations towards The Hepatitis C Trust. In 2017, she was awarded a grant from The Eaton Fund and was also shortlisted for Art Factor 2013. Simone’s work has been featured in Wired, British Vogue, Livingetc, Creative Review, and Homes & Gardens. Her work is held in private collections across the world including the UK, Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Florida, Vancouver and Barcelona.
