Originally from Leeds, printmaker Richard Marsden moved to Glasgow in 2018 to complete his Masters at GSA. His work is distinct – bold colours, sharp lines and precise compositions. Clean and effortless. He uses screen printing to create formal compositions that explore the relationship between geometric shapes and layers of colour. Richard’s work is hugely influenced by architecture and the construction side of the building industry.
Richard graduated with a 1st Class Degree in Graphic Arts & Design from Leeds Beckett University, and completed an MLitt in Fine Art Practice at GSA, 2018.
