London based Melissa North is an illustrator and printmaker who produces vibrant artworks that have a silkscreen aesthetic. Influenced by analogue processes, Melissa collages together photographs and drawings to create illustrations with a tactile quality.
Melissa has a passion for travel and creates work based on the the places she visits. Finding a narrative for her work is central to her practice, and she spends a large amount of time researching the local history, wildlife and urban architectural whilst on her travels.
