Evincing a tangential narrative of both social and cultural archetypes, Felix Carr’s work references historical representations of form and language, meanwhile teasing standardised notions of painterly bravado.
Carr graduated from The Glasgow School of Art 2016. He is the winner of Steven Campbell Trust, Hunt Medal 2016, which is awarded for poetic creativity in the exhibited work of a graduating artist. He is also the recipient of the GSA Dissertation Prize for The School of Fine Art.
