Oil on canvas.
This painting is from Drew Thomson’s series Quiets. Evoking an atmosphere of calm and contemplation, Quiet explores the power of silence and stillness. With an intent to encourage the viewer to slow down and relax, the series depicts figures at ease, in often very minimal settings, reflecting the idea of rest and solitude.
Painting is set in a bespoke black wood box frame with a shadow gap.
