We had the pleasure of working with the fine and exceptionally talented folk at Scottish Opera last month. Producing a number of artworks for their (and the first ever in the UK) outdoor production of the greatest love story ever told, Puccini’s La Boheme. And what an incredible set up for such a longed-for, long awaited return to live, staged opera.

Created in the grounds of Scottish Opera’s production HQ in Glasgow, the orchestra was out of sight while the play unfolded around the audience, who were placed in the middle of the performance. With the wind swirling as the characters moved between sets; the natural elements adding to the emotion and atmosphere.

We invited gallery star Coll Hamilton to create an amazing background image for one of the main stages. Featuring iconic references to Glasgow architecture, filtered with sunset tones.

This was a truly unique opportunity and a very special event to be part of. And as an added bonus, we have a number of Coll’s development works on paper available. Check out his collection to view all pieces now.
