We've heard nothing but positive comments, and even the one or two who aren't fussed have certainly voiced their appreciation of having something more than a blank wall to look at. We thought it would be interesting to include people from the start, instead of just hearing what they think afterwards, to get public opinion or better yet involve them. We wanted to do something different that hadn't been done before and use digital media to determine the fate of street art.

A view from the Clyde, Street Art in Glasgow

Perhaps you’re one the many passing motorists who’ve already horned your approval – and if not it’s down on the riverside behind the St Enoch centre if you’re out hunting for it.

The initial Art Pistol concept was “A view from the Clyde”, which we then developed with the very talented artist responsible for bringing it to life, Rogue-One, a Glasgow based street artist.

Interview with emerging artist and fine art student Kyle Noble

The origins of man, Megalithic monuments, ancient civilisations, shamanism, psychedelia, cultural truth, scepticism and spiritualism are all tributaries into Kyle’s work. That’s some eclectic inspiration for an emerging artist and just one of the reasons why we can’t wait to see more. His latest work looks great and has stories to tell – take your pick! Here’s what Kyle had to say to us:

Badly drawn pictures for some new words!

Wouldn’t it be cool if dictionaries kindly provided a visual representation for their words! A Pictionary perhaps. Not to be confused with the game.

Well, after studying the list of ‘new words’ to be included in the latest version of the Collins Online Dictionary, I felt inspired to pick out a few favourites and crudely try to create their subsequent pictorials for said potential book. Direct interpretation from their given meanings cannot be guaranteed.
