Auchentoshan Distillery Pop Up Gallery

We're delighted, and very excited, to be putting on a pop up gallery for Auchentoshan at their Whisky Festival on Saturday 16th June. Whisky, fine single malt whisky that is, is the flavour of the day and we're putting on a show to match! The gallery show is all about the art of Scotland, from some specially selected artists, who'll be showing some of their latest work. We're also running a Silent Auction, which Julie Arbuckle and Lee Robertson have very generously produced work especially for. It's whisky themed work of course, and all proceeds are going to the Erskine Hospital. Maybe see you there...

Post Show Review

The rain was our side kick and helped those seeking shelter into our marquee, meaning more people got to enjoy the art on show - every rain cloud has a silver lining.

Lee Robertson's "Fish & Chips", from her latest collection of popular food paintings, was probably the star of the show and definitely dinner inspiration for many to the delight of local chip shops. We had some fantastic Scottish landscape paintings on show from Andrew Peutherer and Julie Arbuckle, whose silent auction piece was subject to a day of competitive bidding. Thanks to Julie, Lee and all those that bid, and a big congrats to the winning bidders! Some intimate photography from Dave Hunt and moody toy paintings from Brian Hodgson rounded off an exciting collection. All artworks were thoroughly enjoyed and seen by many, art lovers or not and all in between.

A big thanks to Auchentoshan for having us - it was a great day brilliantly finished off by Skerryvore!
