I have painted since I was a small boy, I have always loved nature, especially plants, insects and birds, I get inspiration from my job as a gardener but I never copy anything I see directly as I think nature is already perfect, I would rather see it in my minds eye and paint using my imagination, this means its truly mine and not a copy, this gives it an unreal feeling, I am not into realism, I use impression, expression and imagination so every one of my paintings is very different from the next.
